Craig Green’s Spring 2016 campaign collides the worlds of Japanese quilting and Cult following. In his most beautifully shot campaign to date he contrasts the collection’s focus on black and white with a backdrop of monotone landscapes. Overall the collection offers us only a small taste of the upcoming collection, but succeeds in peaking the interest of the consumer, using ambiguity in hopes the consumer will indulge themselves further into the brand.
This collection initiates a story that continues into his work with Björn Borg for Autumn 2016. The black and white palette with hints at sportswear act as a foreshadowing to his upcoming collaboration.
This collection can already be found at retailers like Ssense, offering a monotone collection as seen in the campaign but adding small splashes of color with blue and green.
The rest of the campaign can be seen below.
